River District Retreat - Walk to Downtown Belmont!

A sweet house within walking distance of downtown Belmont. Positive: I loved the location and the spotless kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms were very comfortable. AC worked great. The neighborhood was cute. Negative: The outside seating area around the firepit was not as advertised, and the front porch entrance area could be more attractive. The wheely bins were not put away as they said they would be. A banister going up the front stairs would be appreciated for older visitors.

Location was great, and host communicated VERY efficiently when I brought a few things to their attention. Accommodations were adequate, but needs some freshening up.

Very poor experience, coffee maker did not work,oven filthy, microwave filthy, toaster oven filthy, main bedroom pillows old and stained, bathroom ceiling vent filthy, bathroom wall by shower had a hole from water damage, deck of cards provided missing a card, monopoly missing money and dice would never stay here again there are too many places nearby and les expensive. Asked me for a 5 star review, not a chance.

Check-in/getting in was easy. Place was clean and neighborhood quiet. I appreciated the communications checking in on us and the cafe recomendation. Honeycomb was great btw.Thanks.

The communication and check in process with the property manager was fine. Upon arrival, we noticed a very strong stale odor in the home. It appeared to have not been cleaned properly. There was food on the carpet in the living room. A couple of the appliances that they advertised did not work. The place in general did not seem very clean or well kept.
